Inksplash Designs is the freelance web design operation of Jennifer Lyker. I live and work in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and I specialize in providing customized & powerful web solutions for small to medium-sized businesses and organizations.
I am a self-professed Web-Geek. And sometimes... I even dream in code.
Since 1997, I have been creating websites- first as a personal hobby, and eventually as a freelancer. After employment as a web developer at a local design firm, I decided it was time to focus solely on my work and my customers at Inksplash Designs. I love what I do- if it wasn't my job, I would probably be doing it anyway!
Not only am I passionate about creating websites, but I have the skills and expertise to back it up. Ten years ago I started my own personal website. Since then, my knowledge has expanded from the basics of HTML coding to CSS styling, PHP scripting, accessibility on the web, and search engine optimization. I strive to constantly keep learning as things change in the web-world, and I am always looking for new challenges and ideas.
When I'm not creating websites, I'm usually spending time with my husband, Dan, and my almost 1-year-old daughter, Maggie.
